Jorge Posada López Marzo 2017 La casa está en un entorno privilegiado. Cuenta con una cocina totalmente equipada y excelentes vistas. Hace algo de frío (para ser Canarias) con lo que una chaqueta no está de más. Consultad con Andrés lo que necesitéis, pues siempre está dispuesto a ayudar.
Cliff Begley February 2017 Everything was OK. Only minor trouble with water flow. Was greeted with lunch & later shared a meal with Anders + relatives, everyone was lovely with outstanding hospitality. Well equipped kitchen including a kettle. It was cold at night, but it’s early February & about 400M above sea level. Gloriously warm during the day on the comfortable, spacious veranda/terrace with great views & sounds of countryside – rustling reeds etc. It’s a short bus ride to Guia for large supermarket.
Cosy living room & beds, with plenty of blankets. Andres English is v basic but we communicated OK. The animals looked contented & were pleasant to be around. I would definitely like to return for another pleasant experience of this rural side of GC.
Rob Thijssen January 2017 Beautiful mountain farm for a great taste of rural Gran Canaria. My hosts were wonderful and gave me the run of the upstairs of the house. Big comfortable living room and country kitchen and great views of the sea and countryside. I was made to feel at home and my hosts shared a delicious farmhouse pottage with me. If you want a more authentic experience of Gran Canaria, this is the place!
Silvia Guarnieri January 2017 Oltre al posto incantevole, conoscere Andres e Maria è stata l’esperienza più bella di tutte le Canarie. Sono persone sempre sorridenti e gentili che hanno fatto tutto il possibile per aiutarci e stare con noi. Tutti coloro che vogliono vivere la campagna di Gran Canaria, hanno sicuramente un posto dove poter soggiornare, lontano dal caos di Las Palmas.
Serhiy Lavrynenko January 2017 Big wooden house in the mountain village. Owners are living on the ground floor and the second floor has three bedrooms, bathroom, living room and spacious well equipped kitchen. Also there are terrace with great view on the sea and mountain, BBQ, swing and a lot of cats, dogs and goat.
Owners are very kind and pleasant people. In the village you can find nice bar Ca’l Pastor with cheap prices and tasty local food. Just note couple remarks: it is mountains, so at night it is little bit cold (at least in January). House is situated on the high hillside, and last 300 meters are dirt road, so it is little bit hard to get there on the car. In general, if you are looking for quiet place to get rest from civilization, or base for exploring the island – it’s a good choice. Our family spent remarkable New Year holidays there. Highly Recommend!
Sisco Sanchez December 2016 La casa es de madera y de gran calidad arquitectonica, supergrande, con mobiliario y camas muy confortables. Los anfitriones viven abajo y los huespedes disponen enteramente del segundo piso con entrada propia, una gran cocina y baño, y el salon con vistas a la ladera y el oceano, desde donde puedes ver incluso los ferries llegando al puerto.
Es muy agradable sentirte en el campo, oir las cabras y los gallos, y al mismo tiempo tener el wifi mas rapido. Andres lo senti como un amigo, y su mujer tambien un encanto, te explican todo y tienes total independencia. Antes de ir, mejor comunicate con Andres para que te de las instrucciones precisas de acceso, hay medio kilometro de carril de tierra y sitio para dejar el coche junto a la casa o un poco antes.
